Assuming the Jets let him go? If you were the guy, would you bring him in on a 1yr contract, and let Culpepper* *go?
why not? just sell some tickets. I mean you can’t go 0-16 two years in a row can you?
No.
I would hate to see Favre go out like that, jumping from team to team and such.
He also has a history of not playing well in domes (for whatever reason), Detroit’s woes aren’t likely to help that.
I say keep Culpepper, bring in Favre and McNabb (assuming they both get let go!).
“The Schwartz” could them run the offense like a baseball team’s pitching squad. A couple of starters, some relievers, and maybe they could find a good closer (possibly Vinnie Testaverde since the Lions might be the only NFL team he hasn’t ever played for). Why not? Nothing else has worked. They are already running their front office by committee, and they have a completely unproven head coach (again).
Do you believe in NOW?!?
Bernie
No. There’s no future with Favre. It’s time for him to retire.
I think Detroit need a hell more then favre, I think they should call barry and see if he wants to make a comeback!
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Oh … wait a minute … were you serious???
No. There’s no future with Favre. It’s time for him to retire.
Exactamundo! Time to retire Brett. It’s been fun but the Jets have a new coach and you should just go peaceably into the night. As for joining the Lions, ridiculous!
***I would hate to see Favre go out like that, jumping from team to team and such. ***
Too late!
But if he did go to Detroit, it would give me yet another reason to cheer for whomever is playing the Lions on any given week! ![]()
YES YES YES!!!
I’d love to see him throw for 3500 yds…20TD’s…36 Ints…and get sacked 40 times!!!
Demoralize the arrogant fool!!!
(yes, I know he has great career #'s – but he’s also the all-time int leader and a huge ego)
…um…these are the words of a Bears fan.
