i will be in saskatoon for a few days wondering if antone knows anywhere to run out there??
I’ve only been there a couple of times myself. There is a good pathway along both sides of the river for several miles. Pretty flat and usually well above the river, so good views. I don’t know of anywhere else. It’s a pretty friendly town, as is most of Saskatchewan.
You can check weather here. Note that the temperatures are celsius. It looks fairly cold for the next few days and the days are pretty short.

Hey there- born, raised and live in Saskatoon. Great running town. The North Saskatchewan river valley through Saskatoon has a great network of trails. The east and west sides of the city are connected by 6 bridges with pedestrian walkways that can extend mileage by criss crossing the river by alternating running the bridges. Follow this link for a good map with distances and suggested runs. http://www.brainsport.ca/pages/whererun.html
If you are staying at any of the downtown hotels, you will be great location (out the door) to the river.

All your information is spot on, except it’s the South Saskatchewan river valley.

YES- South Saskatchewan, not North Saskatchewan—my bad. Thanks for the catch, don’t know where I got that one- I am now barred from posting after 11pm!
Go Huskies!
Wow, a S’toon post…
The Meewasin bike path is your best bet for running. It’s gotten pretty cold again though, but that won’t stop many locals, 'cept me.
