I’ve just gotten my first road bike and want to get some shorter aero bars for it. I never race anything draft legal (are those even triathlons?) and will still use my triathlon bike in virtually every race that I do so it doesn’t have to be so short that it doesn’t protrude past the shifters. The main types available are Syntace XXS, Vision, Profile GT, and Oval Slam bars. I also notice that the new Profile T2 S-Bend clip (and a number of other Profiles too I guess) is length adjustable so the extensions can slide back to shorten it up.
If you ride one of these setups I would like to hear what you like/dislike about them. Thanks for the input.
