There’s a Tri next weekend in the area 300m swim, 10 mile bike, 1.5 mile run.

Anything that short you need to do as a theme maybe break out a costume. Or bust out the “Trikini”.
The shortest tri i have done is 300m swim, 10km bike and 3km run. It took about 30 min.
Indoor tri at the Kingston, NY YMCA. 10:00 swim, 15:00 bike, 15:00 run. Scored on distance.
Coldwater mini tri in Coldwater, MI…
300y swim, 6m bike, 3 mile run
You barely break a sweat…
150m swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run.
Colstrip (Montana) Spoil-a-thon: 3 mile bike, 3 mile xc run & 100 yd swim. Always fun to watch the bike crashes as everyone just drops 'em & runs.
Local race here geared toward beginners called Y TRI (formerly Tri it On) 200y (pool swim), 8.5 m bike and 2 m (short) run. Did it a couple of years ago, in 40 something. The bike actually has a couple decent ups in it.
Race #1 at the TTT…
250m Swim, 5 mile bike (3.79 on my bike computer), and 1 mile trail run.
3 km run, 10 km bike, 50m swim.
it was a fundraiser for a tiny rural school not far from where I live, the run was a brutal 1500m uphill then back down, the ride was down into a valley and up the other side and return, so two climbs on the bike, and then a swim in the smallest pool I have ever seen, dive and two stroke to complete the first lap, then turn and four strokes per lap from there.
Indoor tri at the Kingston, NY YMCA. 10:00 swim, 15:00 bike, 15:00 run. Scored on distance.
that’s a cool way to do it!
There is a pretty short race here in Michigan called Anchor Bay. I have never done it but it is really short.
The shortest multi-sport race I have ever competed in is the Howell Aquathlon. It is a 2K run-1K swim-2k run. The whole thing takes like 25 minutes. It is so fun because you “redline” it from start to finish.

I’ll bet I win the award for longest “shortest race ever”. 3/4 mile swim-17 mile bike - 5 mile run. I finished in just under 1:45. Only race I’ve done under two hours.

100m swim, ~4 mile bike, 1 mile run. I won finishing in like 20 minutes or something!
The Kingston Y indoor tri is very cool. It goes in waves of 6. Swim in your own lane for 10:00, then you’ve got 10:00 to change and get up to the gym where they have 6 Schwinn aerodyne bikes. You go for 15:00, then you’ve got 5:00 to get to the 13 lap / mile indoor track for a 15:00 run. As the first wave starts the bike at 20:00, the next wave starts the swim. As the first wave starts the run, the third wave starts the swim.
Hurricane shortened Sprint, called a Super Sprint: 400m swim 8 mile bike 2 mile run Damn near killed me as I was train wreck for two days from it. There is no pace except all out! I will never purposely sign up for that again.
shortest I’ve done is 500m/12mi/2.5mi
is was the definition of a sprint
.
YMCA indoor tri 10 min swim 10 min bike 10 min run I did pretty well too.

BRW corperate race in Sydney this year.
400m swim
8 km ride
4 km run
