Shoe/Cleat Alignment Issue

Can anyone offer advice or point me in the direction of someone in the SF East Bay that could help me resolve a cleat/shoe alignment issue? On my tri-bike, my right foot doesn’t seem to want to track straight or even toe in. I’m constantly adjusting my foot to be toe-in because it feels better and more natural. I’m using Time pedals and Sidi shoes. I’m thinking it may be a seat height issue only in that I do not seem to have the same problem on my road bike or on a spin bike, but my seat height feels pretty good on my tri-bike and really don’t want to mess with it. My right foot also doesn’t seem to feel centered and applying power across the whole foot while I’m standing which counters my seat height theory.

I read something about LeWedges on another thread. Would this be something to try? Often when I’m standing I feel like I am only applying power with the right outside edge of my right foot while my left foot feels like I am applying power across the entire ball of my foot.

Anyone know of a good fit specialist that could help me out?

Thanks.

This fellow http://www.bicyclefit.com/index.html is not located in S.F. area but is just north, he knows a lot about cleats. Time pedals are sometimes hard to get cleat alignment set. Different brands of shoes come with inner sole angles built into them so it would be common to have to compensate for that. Self diagnosis can quickly lead to sore tendons.

If you are near the Oakland area try the guys at Wheels of Justice since they are Specialized Fitters there. Having gone thru the school myself this is an area very much covered with the BG Footbeds by Dr. Pruitt. Good luck with your troubles hope they can help out
