one of the biggest ocean swims was swum on the weekend here in Australia and proving triathlete’s can swim (well ex-triathlete) it was won by Paul Lavers in a quick time of 4:14 for just short of 20km, about 12:45 per km.

The dude has been an open water swim specialist for years…Great swim though.

I wish I could swim 12:45 for just 1km. I could back in High School at least.
