I have seaching for Tri bike, I like shiv and transition but I’m not sure how huge different between Shiv and transition (sworks) in bike spilt? It is huge different or only few seconds? I know the huge different is $$ I’m trying to make a good reasonable on price, if they are only different in few seconds. Input your opinion.
the drag difference published by specialized would imply something like 30 to 60 seconds saved per 40k depending on the yaw angles (wind) you experience. this approximation would be more or less the same for all 3 versions of the shiv.
if you are looking at the TT shiv vs the transition, the stack/reach are very different, and may affect your decision.

What size are you looking for?
They also stopped making the S-Works Transition in 2010, so you’d only be able to get a used one (or old stock somewhere). You probably already knew that, but wanted to point it out just in case.
I’m looking for 56cm
