Any one got any comments on the new TR-02 tri shoe?
No details on Shimano’s web site yet. Maybe they are only available to “bike shop owners” at this point!
Tom D - how did you come by your pair?
I have a pair, I just called my bike shop and ordered them a few weeks ago, I’m in Canada though. I also have the TR01, the TR02 have some nice improvments over the TR01, like a reinforced toe and heel section for those that like to keep their shoes clipped to the pedals for transitions, they are also narrower too. I’m not sure about the full silver color though, I prefer the blue/silver of the TR01.
We’ve been selling the TR-02 for a month now. It is the official replacement for the TR-01 with different ventilation, a higher toe box and some other minor changes/improvements. It is a nice shoe- all silver. I like 'em.
Wow those are great looking shoes… I guess I know what’ll be on my Christmas list this year.

Had some on mid-week, better fit (i think) than my 01s and a better, more flexible strap. Cosmetic changes all good. They have the hollowtech sole like the road shoes, a bigger heel loop(!) and possibly better venting (big 'ole vent in the front like NW Aerator). Only delta 3-hole drilling in the sole.
I love mine!!!
They fit, the carbon sole is stiff and they dry fast (or, rather my foot dries fast in them).
Plus they are all shiny and silvery, so everyone comments.
Oh: I bought mine more than a month ago from a bike shop in OR. They ordered them for me because they said the blue ones (the 01s I guess) had been replaced …
