Shimano Dura Ace 10speed Chainrings, 54/39

For sale, Shimano Dura Ace 10speed chain rings, 54/39. used these about 10 times on my TT bike before converting to QRings. They are in excellent condition. if you get them, dont think so, package them right back up and send back and i’ll credit the purchase price.

its a 54/39, which is THE setup for the dura ace cranks. Shimano does not recommend this setup; the stock setup they offer is usually 53/39. but we’ve been running this on most of our riders SRM and non-SRM dura ace cranks. they work great. i run this ring setup on my TT bikes and my road bikes. Using the 54 lets you have a big gear for descending or TT"ing, and yet you still get a nice 39 for climbing. sometimes if you cross index (which you shouldnt do anyway) like a 39front x 11 rear, you get some rubbing due to the size of the big ring. but its minimal and anyone with some experience should know you dont run a 39x11 other than for a moment if you slip up on shifting.

this lets u use 1 crank for TT’ing, climbing, everything. you get the best of the 54 biggie, without giving up the climbing.
if you mount and think it doesnt work right, again, send it back.
i use these on all/ALL my cranks, and many of our team riders. shifting is as good, no issues.

Yours for $75 plus $8.00 shipping. can ship right away. first to paypal, first to own.

So they were used 10 times but are in “as new” condition? I’m not a marketing guy but at what point do you estimate they go from “as new” to actually “used”? And where does “pre-owned” fit in?

on the 11th ride. you dont ahve to buy them. i’ve sold a lot up here, never heard a single complaint. they dont have a gouge, nick or malshape to them.
but to make you happy, i’ll take out the “as new” and call them used. does raise a good question as to what as new means. to me, it means if you bot it, yo’d be getting something in a similar condition as that if it wwere as new. confusing huh?

did you shift at all during these 10 rides?

If so how many times on each ride?

lubrication, as we know, is key.
actually side topic, ive been using Finish LIne’s ceramic lube. stuff is awsome. goes on lite, wipes off easy and noise-less.
rings are in very nice shape for someone who can hack a 54.

i’d say used for 2 weeks count as “as new”… especially b/c you could easily use chain rings for 4 plus years (200 plus weeks) before replacing…

I, for sure, can not hack a 54:-)

Maybe Brendan can?

him? he’s a weenie. 54 is for big boyz only.
