What’s the smallest inner chainring you can use on a standard Dura Ace crank? Got a 39 currently; would like something smaller. I’m trying to put together a compact drive-ish crankset w/o actually getting a new crank.
38 is the smallest you can go; however, you can get pretty large on the rear. Interlok racing designs sells a 12-28 cassette that will work.
That sounds like a good set-up. Your bike was the inspiration for this project.
