Shimano 9000 cables on Sram groupset

Hi,

Can the Shimano 9000 cables fit on Sram groupset? I saw reviews that the brake cables are so slick that it might slip on the bolt?
Is it true?

As far as I’m concerned, cables are just cables. As long as their tightened enough they shouldn’t slip at all. I’ve used Bontrager’s cables, Jagwire cables and SRAM cables on my RED grouppo without any issues.

What ^^^ said. I think the only thing one has to pay attention to is that Shimano/SRAM use the same cables, but Campy does not…
