Two bike vendors have told me the new 2006 model year Shimano 105 10 speed kit will be on bikes in stores in June 2005. This is looking like very early introduction 2006 product in '05.
Interesting.

campi probably took a little market share last year so they are looking to get some of it back, and from the spec list you see on most bikes I would say shimano lost some market share to plenty of other manufactures ie cranks,
when was the last time you saw a shimano hub? I am not trying to down play shimano but I remember bikes with everything shimano. Seems like they are going to have to get off the ropes and back in the fight.
Yes, like does Shimano even build a threadless headset yet? Isn’t that just a little behind times.
Aloha,
Larry
Be careful Tom, you might offend some of the jackasses on here if you dare to mention any cycling products
.
Ummmmmm… I do believe that’s a Shimano hub, on the Shimano wheels. Ever heard of the Dura Ace 7700s.
Tom,
Have you heard anything new on those Ritchey “Keo-killers” you showed us a while back?
How many bikes come OE with shimano wheels for 2005? much less than 2004? Please don’t missunderstand me I love shimano parts, up until the mid 1990’s just about everything on a bike was shimano. Shimano has gained much competition.
Will it be black?
