Problem: My shifters on my aerobars are jumping gears. Without the cabel even connected to the shifters, it’ll go from 1,2,3 then a huge jump without even locking in all way to 6. It’s like it turned into a 6 speed shifter.
Has anyone ever had this problem?
Did you pull it apart? May not be back together correctly.
How many miles on those guys? Could be completely worn out
OR…its busted…buy some new ones
there is a little piece of metal on the right hand side of the shifter. Twist it back the other way. See if that helps. It will make it so it will lock at each gear.

Na, it is not the setting of the shifter and I’m dead positive I got it back together correctly…
