Sweet pics. Thank you Cathy

Thanks for sharing.

Amazon contributes almost all of it’s political money to Republicans, even though it’s putatively in Washington state.

Yeah, Fillmore is a bitch. The pictures barely do it justice. I rode it this AM and for a time I wasn’t sure I was going to make it up - I actually stopped before the last section to recover a bit. There was a girl going up ahead of me that popped a wheelie in her triple and nearly fell sideways down the hill.

I finally just hung my body over the front of my bike, got out of the saddle and finished the damn thing. I swear, the cowbell helped me get over the top. Heard today that the middle section is actually 20%.

Taylor was a bit easier - shorter than Fillmore.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I ran in to Bobke in the Wheelworks tent, Dave took pics with Bobke posing with our kids. Very cool.

Bobke??? COOL!!! I never made it down to the finish/expo. Beer drinking and a little pasta eating took precedence.

My Fillmore pics are in the lower third where it’s “only” 8%.

Thanks for the awesome pictures. I have been overtrained for the last two weeks and it inspired me to get back on the bike. Thanks. I needed something to get me rolling again.

Great day and a great race. More pics in the AM.

Damn, I miss SF…

Thanks for the pics, Cathy.

HAHAHA! Great picture!!!

S, thanks for sharing that bit of info about Amazon. I’m going to do way more businesss with them now.

Cathy, great pics. Looks like it was a stunning weather day.

Lots of pics of M Creed in there. Nice guy, had lunch w/ him Saturday after the Discovery ride. Seeing him off the front half the day was cool. I didn’t notice that his front end was so high during the ride; wonder if he added spacers to raise his position for this race.

I never made it to the hill, was at the start/finish all day. Our shuttle that was to take people back/forth was supposedly cancelled.

Best couple of cycling days in my memory, and a huge weekend for SF. I’m pretty sure BGI will sponsor again next year, which is fantastic news for all those who worried about the event getting scuttled.

Here are a few more pics from the other side of the race.

I saw a redhead there who looked just like you, but she was riding around without a helmet, and I KNOW you would NEVER do that…

I hate to give away the secret, because next year there will be a crowd there, but the absolute best place for pictures was the corner of Broadway and Embarcadero. Broadway hooks slightly to the left just before the right hand turn and the riders (and team cars) come around that corner just hangin’ it all out there.

Check my gal’s pics. start from the end and work back, because we were down at that spot for the last two laps. Also, the corner of Columbus and Broadway was pretty good too. Best spot of all would have been Union and Stockton, catching them as they took that high-speed turn, but the cops wouldn’t let us set up there…

Great pictures. You guys were all over that course.

Dave

Great Pics,

I was there also and shot 450+ pics with my new Rebel XT. I just arrived home from the trip and it will take a while to get them sorted out. Shot some great video also.

Any ideas, anyone, on a great image hosting site or sorting software. My 10,000+ pics are getting out of hand.

.

Yikes, there is another me?? I don’t know that the world can handle that.

Wasn’t me that you saw as I didn’t touch the bike on Sunday. Great pics!! I was at Broadway/Emb. last year for awhile and that is a good spot. Another good spot is Broadway/Polk (my hood), where they are screaming down Broadway and have to make the left turn onto Polk.
