Sew-up tire help

What is the best way to clean a sew-up tire rim after removing old tire? I used the tufo glue tape. thanks!

I use goo-off (or goof-off, I can’t remember). I use it with steel wool to remove glue residue. You can buy it at major hardware stores. It is very strong for removal of adhesives and other “goo”. Zipp says it is safe on their carbon rims.

You mean you don’t throw them away with the flat tire?

Have you tried a big screw driver bit connected to a drill?

Actually, I just pick the glue off while watching a program on tv. I don’t like to use chemicals. It’s time consuming, but it keeps my fingers out of my nose.
