Like many other cyclist on this forum, we believe that all cyclist should obey all the rules of the road.
Every cyclist should stop at all red lights.
I was heading for Belmont Wheel works to pick up my bike, i drove past a cyclist riding a serrotta ( like all cyclist we always check out the bike) the rider was wearing a Pan Mass shirt.
I can up to a red light at a four way intersection and the rider goes thru the red light. I comment to my wife that it is rider like that who give cyclists a bad name with motorist.
I get to Wheelworks and i am picking up my bike, when the offending cyclist came in.
At least he was out riding his bike. He’s also a pretty good advocate for cyclists, so while he might roll through a stop light or stop sign he’s probably doing more for the good of cyclists than many other politicians. And seriously, who hasn’t rolled through the occasional red sign?
I’d rather a dorky looking, red light running, intelligent cyclist as president than an enviroment and international relations killing, oil company advocat anyday.
