Selle San Marco Azoto Warranty?

Does anyone know if there is any type of warranty on this saddle? The rails on mine broke after just 10 months of riding. Seems that a saddle this expensive should have some kind of warranty.

uggg, seems to be a common problem. I haven’t broken mine yet, but I’m totally dreading when they, do, and of course I don’t have my receipt anymore. I hope there is some kind of warranty help, but you should search the previous threads because this has come up a lot of times.

I’ve broken 3 of them. Selle in Italy sent the first replacement ASAP…even without me sending the broken one. The next 2 were a problem. NO responses from Selle. Ended up contacting a dealer here in the states that replaced the 2nd one. Said the “hell with it” after the 3rd one snapped in half.

I’m now using the same saddle but in the FSA/Vision model with the heavier rails (the other had ti and they admitted to having problems with them.). I have 2 of the Vision models and have 1,000’s of miles on them without problems!

Good Luck!

My LBS seemed to think that there is / was a life time warranty on this saddle. They didn’t have one in stock today, but gave me loaner and ordered me a new one. I guess that’s one huge advantage that going through an LBS. They good ones stand behind the stuff they sell and don’t bother the customers with the details. I am not feeling so bad about the $140.00 I paid for this last year now :).

if you’re looking to replace it, i can send you one that i’m not using anymore cheap.

pm me…i used it for 4 months then switched

tjs,

I broke the Ti rails on my Azoto exactly 1 year ago today. The saddle was about 6 months old at the time.

I contacted the US rep and they said the rails are NOT covered under warranty, but they have a Ti rail replacement program for US$30.00. Included freight costs to/from Italy.

So I sent the the saddle to the US rep address in Colorado I think, and waited and waited. After 6 months of waiting I emailed them, then phoned them. Evidently I did not get a “RA” - a “return authorization” so tracking the repair was difficult. I was bummed. They said they would look into it.

Another month or two goes by and a FEDEX package arrives with a BRAND NEW AZOTO.

Then just 2 weeks ago another FEDEX package arrives, another BRAND NEW AZOTO.

I guess I am now sponsored by Selle San Marco

So at the end of the day…the warranty worked out fine, it just took forever.

If you need the US rep address let me know and I will dig it out.

Can you give me the reps name?
