Selle Italia SLR T1? -- Reviews?

I currently use the SLR Carbonio on my road bike, but put a Fizik Arione Tri on my Tri-bike. I have given it a good chance but just cannot get comfortable on the Fizik. I put my SLR on my Tri last weekend and rode 100 miles and it felt great. Is there anything to gain from the SLR T1?

I’ve been wondering about the SLR T1 as well. I actually have one that came with my P3sl last week. I built the bike with my crusty (really crusty with holes in it) old san marco tri-gel to make the changeover easier and now am wondering if I should pop on the SLR. I have an Aspide Tri-gel as well which I may use instead. The SLR T1 looks nice but is a little firm up front for me. I really should try it though. Waaaay more padding than a regular SLR and a little wider up front. More like a regular saddle than the superlight SLR.

I’ve got one and I’m a bit disappointed. The nose is a little wide for me and the nose is not completely flat so it puts extra pressure on my prostate region. I’ll likely switch at the end of the season to a saddle with a flat nose.

I just did my 1st ride on the one that came with my Cervelo Soloist. After 90k I would say it is OK. Felt a little narrow (131mm) but I plan to stick it out a bit before judging. Also it is level now. I will try dropping the nose 1 or 2 degrees. My old bike has a Selle Italia XO Trans Am (140mm) and I have alway liked it.
