After four years I’m ready to make the jump from racing w/my road bike to a tri bike. I’m 5’9" and have tested several bikes and find 49-51 or small to work fine. Very flexible on brand and materials (alum is fine) and I have a great set of race wheels. However, I do prefer at ultegra group (no less than 105 brakes).

I have a Trek Equinox 9 frame/fork/seatpost plus drivetrain components (mix of DuraAce and Bontrager) I could sell you. Pretty low miles. Less than 2 years old and most of that time has been spent hanging in the rafters of my “bicycle barn.” If you’re interested, I’ll get pics and figure out what I’d have to have for it. I could put a nice set of bars (Vision alloy basebar with Oval clip-on aerobars), plus shifters and brake levers on it. Saddles, pedals and wheels would be up to you.
