The welcome banquet sold out before I could buy a ticket for my wife, yes my own fault! If anyone isn’t going to it please PM me!

If you don’t find one… usually you can score one at the door.

I assume they come free with entry? I doubt I’ll be going to the banquet so you can have mine if that’s the case (but I won’t know for sure until next week). Will you be online while in Penticton? What night is it?

No, athletes typically only use their wristbands to get in to those things. Guest tickets are the ones that are separate.

Thanks Thunder, but I think Canadafan might be right, athletes get in with their wristband. I’ll bump this post maybe in 5-6 days see how it’s done. The IMC website says all tix are sold out.

Last year at registration we just sort of hung out and in no less than 10 minutes someone was there willing to sell their extra tickets. Just ask when registering (where you would pick them up when you pre-purchased them) and they will direct you where you need to be!

Thanks, we’ll see if the wife gets into the welcome banquet. Maybe I should dress her up as a caterer?

I have a ticket for both the Welcome and Awards banquet. $15 each. Let me know. I’m staying at the Best Western.

I was very dissapointed with the Welcome banquet, worst I’ve been to at any big budget race (some low budgets races were even better.) Therefore, I’d rather take the wife out to a fine restaurant then come home hungry again!
