Look, I understand some Aussie people here have not been towing the line recently, but I’m serious… In Australia we don’t have a great constitution like the U.S.A
Man, a constitution that allows its citizens to arm themselves …
WOW! U.S.A. ALL THE WAY…
The AU federal government has been progressively disarming the people in our wonderful country.
WELL I DON’T TRUST THE GOVERNMENT!
So please, some genuine advice re guns would help me a lot
Glenn
PS Are titanium bullets much lighter than normal bullets?
What is the best type of weapon to carry on a bike?
I think profile makes an M-Gun that mounts between the aerobars. It works for all kinds of things… Wallabies, deer, annoying competitors that are in your way. They are clip-on though so be careful that it is on good and tight.
Not sure. Last year’s model was a bit weighty, and I think there was a couple of issues with them in cyclecases at the airports. But the new model is carbon and should help in both cases.
Recently while on a training ride I had a very ugly incident when a Wallaby hooped into me, at the time I was doing approximately 70km/h.
The result of this was not good, after a day in hospital, 40 stiches and weeks out of training I am one pissed little vegemite…
So I have decider to carry a gun whilst ridding…
My question may be best answered by the American people here (I think) …
What is the best type of weapon to carry on a bike?
Where can I get a carbon holster?
Is it possibly to get lightweight bullets?
Any other firearms information would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Glenn
Glenn,
Surely you jest. I’m wondering if you are still recovering from a blow to your head?
How fast can you draw, aim and shoot at 70 km/hr? Maybe because accuracy may be an issue with firearms and road vibration may negatively influence aiming and accuracy, you should consider a briefcase size small nuclear weapon? Much less accuracy required. Will be very effective at stopping most critters in near proximity.
No need for guns. When I lived in the mountains, where deer can be a problem with vehicles, many people swear by a little device that generates a ultrasonic vibration that is audible to deer but inaudible to humans. Check it out it may be equally effective with your wallaby problem.
