It sucks donkey nads. Two loops up and down Grand Ave. The “Premier” tri in L.A. can’t close enough streets that they gotta run up (and down) that beast twice? Yet another reason (besides beaucoup bucks) not to do it again

I’m so glad I have to go to a wedding in NY that weekend – I hate that damn hill.
But seriously, that blows – as much as I hate the hill, I did like the previous run course since it took you through some of the interesting areas of town and all the way to the river.
Yes, Grand sucks…but I’m thinking other than the big hill it’s pretty flat and there won’t be that long drag uphill on Temple or that annoying little dogleg on that street named after an astronaut or something. It may actually be a faster course and T2 will hopefully be fairer if the entrance and exit are at opposite ends unlike recently.
