this is the place for guesses for the month of september. it is august 26 as i post this, and we’ll throw guesses for the balance of august in here as well.
Secret Place #7 is obviously along the Wild Horse Trail somewhere between Crosley Saddle and where it hits the Dripping Springs Trail…now to find a topo map to figure out the exact point.
Secret Place #21
Is this the San Gabriel Crest Trail? The spot would be a saddle on the way up to Mount Baldy (I think). It looks like that climb in the background.
SECRET PLACE #4
Really have no clue and there is not much running water in the pic, but might as well guess:
High Sierra Loop Trail (the “mist trail”) - bridge crossing the Merced River in Yosemite below Vernal falls.
is that a dingo on the trail with you?
Secret Place #4: Yosemite Valley Trailhead to Half Dome; just past the Happy Isles Visitor Center, which is open seasonally.
#4 - The bridge at the Top of Yosemite Falls, about 1/4 mile from lip of falls.

Place #19 looks an awful lot like a switchback about two miles up a trail on the Devils Punchbowl. Now if I could just remember the name of the trail…

I find myself planning the location of Sundays long (trail) run based on what I am hopefully going to hear from you today. I am thinking you have not replied to anyone yet on purpose…I think you are envisioning a stampede like event to your side of the range.

you now have entered what they on wall street call the “quiet period.” everybody else has to be quiet and you have one week to figure out where this is along that trail.
however, the point is to get people to VISIT these places.

i’m not familiar with that trail name. so i suppose the answer is no. plus, it’s not really in the near vicinity of baldy.
best get in your car and go see if you can find this place. judging by the hint, there are very few places this can be.
