Seat post?

I’m finally getting a new bike (it’s a Russ Denny frame!) and now I need a seat post. Are there any recommendations for good posts at a good price?

Seeing as how you are XL I’m going to recommend the AX lightness carbon seatpost for only 325 euro (86 to 144 grams). Then you can put the Apollo seat on it for just 248 euro (69 to 83 grams).

ASSuming you have 1000 E to start with, this leaves you 427 E to pay a proctologist to remove it upon mechanical failure. Sorry, I couldn’t resist :slight_smile:

Supergo has a nice looking aero carbon post for $70. I haven’t used it but the specs look pretty solid for that price. It is heavier than a USE (I think by about 30 or 40g) but less than half the price. Anyone out there ever see/use this post?

thomson, nothing fancy but a good post/design IMO. I have the thomson elite in two bikes and might pick up the new masterpiece one of these days.
