Seat post problem

I’ve got a seat post that needs repair. The saddle clamp is press-fit with glue to the seat post tube, but the glue has failed causing the saddle to swivel from side to side while riding.

Anyone know what type of glue to use for aluminum?

There is only one glue you should use for that - make sure you are VERY specific when asking for it…

go to a LBS and ask for a bottle of “New Seat Post”. There are many brands of “New Seat Post” glue, many people prefer Thompson, Easton, and Corima. New Seat Post glue will cost you from $20.00 to $200.00 depending on the weight of the repair needed.

LOL- I love it! Bru, dude, save yourself the potential discomfort of a seatpost shaft up the poop shute and kick down for a new seat post :-0
