SDIT the elite (luke Mck, bell)

International distance race, 1k swim 30k bike 10k run

Last year Luke Mckenzie won, and came in 2nd at Kona. Luke Bell was 3rd last year. Is this a sign that Mckenzie is not a Kona contender this year?

Did anyone from the forum do this race ?

4 minutes faster for me this year, but I know I can do better still… 15 swim, 48 bike, 41 run 1:48 total

Different race schedule this year. Probably right at the at the peak of his build for Challenge Roth, whereas last year, he was coming off Ironman Cairns.
