Hi there,

From the 3rd week in August I’ll be in Scottsdale working for 3 weeks. Sounds like I’ve got a lot of hot, hot, hot to look forward to…

Traveling halfway round the world (from South Africa) means I’m not going to be able to bring my bike but would love to be able to turn the legs over a few times while I’m out there.

Was wondering how much riding happens during the summer (guessing it would have to be nice and early) and if anyone has an old medium laying around I could potentially rent/borrow and join up in a couple group rides?

Long term there’s potential to relocate so it would be nice to get a feel for the cycling landscape.

Cycling goes all summer in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area (although not for me - I try to be out of Arizona June through August). It is fine in the mornings. I have a bike I would be happy to lend you but I am in Canada and will not be back until Sept 1. If you are still looking for one after that send me a message.

I’m on the rode by 5am over here. Early mornings don’t scare me :slight_smile:

I was there in March for a camp and I’m pretty sure Lifetime does a weekend ride. There is also a bike shop that does a few rides during the week. I can’t remember the name. The one ride I did solo was a blast. Fountain Hills is great for hill work and McDowell (MTB) is a blast.
