I bought this bike on sale new a few weeks ago (2006 model), but after many adjustments I just think it’s too large for me (I’m 5’8"). Bike shop was sure medium was right, but I am not.
Seatpost has been cut to accommodate me. 29 inches (roughly) from BB to top of seat @ lowest point (3cm adjustment, 5 if you buy the extended seat mount from Scott). 35 inches from middle of pedal spindle to top of seat at lowest point.
I replaced the aerobar setup with Oval Concept A700 to get lower (read Slowtwitch review with same suggestion). I also upgraded to Dura Ace crankset because they didn’t have any 172.5 in Shimano 105.
