I am considering purchasing an 08 Plasma LTD on closeout and I’d like to know if anyone who has ridden the bike can offer feedback about sizing.
My former tri bike was a P2C and it was a 51cm.
I’m 5’9’’ and the P2C fit wonderfully. However, I sold it.
With the 08 models on sale, I’m looking at a 49 and 52 cm Plasma LTD.
Any info about how I could choose the best size?
My inseam is 30.25 in and I am very flexible.

I rode a 52 plasma prior to my 51 P2C. All I can really say is that it is really trying to comparing apples to mangos. Each are designed to be ridden in a totally different set-up. I had never ridden the XS in the Scott but felt that the 52 was the size that worked best for me. I have to say while I really liked a lot of the aspects of the plasma I could never get it set-up how I wanted. Im sure this really didnt help.
That helps somewhat… At least you were on the same bikes, which tells me I’m looking in the right direction.
Dialing in the bike is a matter of patience, and trial and error.
I dialed in the P2C with relative ease… just need to give the Scott a chance.
Do you feel that the sizing was the issue or the seat tube angle (76 v. 78/80)???
Anyone else with input?
