Does or has anyone used these? I’ve got some from a long time ago, thinking of putting them back on, just for kicks. I would think they would be pretty aero… moreso than any base/clip or integrated combo.

I loved mine and wish I had taken them off the bike they were on when I sold it. Oh well. I don’t recall ever having a problem climbing on them when I lived in a hilly area.
I wish I had picked up some of these a few years back when I saw them in a clearout bin at the bike show in Toronto really cheap. I always thought they looked really cool. I think that Greg Welsh used them on his softride the year that he won in Kona.

I like the Extremes better, as they are a bit wider. I have an old set of 100Ks for grins.
It’s best to use BMX levers on them, as they work a LOT better on the weird bends. I also suspect that they would be world beaters in weight and aerodynamics if they were tweaked a bit.
