School Healthy Snacks........ AAAARRRRGGGhHHH

Here was the reply this morning… Remember last night she told me no to raisins and prunes.

We are a nut free class for both nuts and legumes due to some allergies. Pitted dates, prunes, raisins are also okay. The whole point to the fruit and vegetable snack is that we want a healthy nutritious snack to fuel the kids learning—and to save the sugary delicious snacks for lunch and/or birthday treats.

I really feel like jumping all over the bullshit line of the sugary delicious snacks… and let her know my kids prefer fresh fruits over cookies and cakes… But I think I’ll let this one go.
