XLAB is seeking a key addition to its small, but energetic team.
The Buyer/Inventory Controller will be responsible for computing item needs with the sales team, placing and tracking purchase orders internationally all while ensuring the deadlines and quality levels are met.
Other responsibilities include ensuring that inventory is accurate with rolling counts, negotiating product and freight costs down, receiving accuracy, qualifying new vendors, implementing Engineering Change Orders, processing discrepant material, and coordinating activities with all Team Players.
Minimum 3 years procurement experience with strong analytical skills, high level of initiative, highly accurate, personable, enhanced vendor relations and be a strong negotiator.
Position is located in San Diego & is part time - 6 - 6.5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
