aaah reverse fork lettering, see how it works is that if you ride fast enough the lettering kinda starts to spin in the crazy time warp turbulence around your bike and the next thing you know, walla, reverse lettering;) yeah crazy looking. Man that’s a big dude too…

Looks like his new team isn’t exactly rollin with the same $$$ as protour teams. At least Phonak let him keep his bikes when they fired him last year!
no that’s not how it works. santi is riding for a small d2 team that probably doesn’t get provided time trial bikes…phonak probably let him keep a tt bike and a road bike or he never gave’em back when they folded so he he had his tt bike repainted in the sponsor’s livery.
santiago botero won a time trial world championship on a 23 pound look road bike with clip on bars that would have looked out of place and dated in a 1987 triathlon…believe you me; he does not give a flying fruck what kind of bike he rides.

I saw that pic on cyclingnews last night ( it was the helmet that caught my eye in the thumbnail to begin with)
I thought it looked like a BMC but my significant other told me to shut up!
I think that pic is a bit deceiving. He’s really not that big a guy. He actually won the polka dot jersey at the TDF one year.
It does look like he’s put on a few lbs this year, though.

it was 2003 worlds in Zolder. he road a look 486 with ITM one piece aerobars, not clip ons, and a 486 built up with shimano DA is closer to 18 lbs not 23lbs. there is a head on shot on graham watson’s site & I’m sure u can find pics if u search cyclingnews.com
