Santa Rosa Triathlon RD in the hospital

Charlie Knight, Co-Race Director along with his wife Ann, of the Santa Rosa Triathlon is in the hospital with kidney failure. Ann’s address is 3601 Maule Rd., Pensacola, FL 32503.

I talked to Ann today and she said Charlie is resting comfortably, but will only last a few more days. Charlie is 74 years old, and he and Ann have been putting on the SRT for 10 years.

All of the proceeds from the race go back into the community. Charlie is one of the nicest people on earth! Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Z

Wow, that sucks. I met Charlie many times when I lived on the beach. (dont miss that boring ride down Via De Luna)

Adding my prayers here. The Knights are Good People who have given a lot back to the area over the years.

wow that is sad news indeed. I won that race overall back in 98. Still have the Tiki that Charlie Jr carved sitting right here beside my desk. Thoughts and prayers to their family!!
