I’ve been going to SF a couple days each week for work. Love it. Can someone tell me approximately (or exactly) how far it is from the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge, staying along the Embarcadero/shoreline the entire way? I’m guessing it’s ~6 miles each way - am I close? Did that as an out-and-back this morning and one morning last week (when there was an incredible sunrise). One could get used to that.
It depends how thick the fog is.
You pretty much nailed the distance. Bay Bridge to Golden Gate is approximately 6 miles within a couple hundred yards. This is my standard Tuesday, Thursday morning run. There are incredible morning sunrises on this run, however it does have its fair share of cold and windy days as well. Tuesday’s headwind on the way back was pretty nasty.
