I recently bought a new set up from sampson sports for my road bike. Including, shifters, brakes calipers, front and rear derailluers, and pedals. I’ve used shimano for most of my riding life and demo’d others; Sampson by far is right on top. I was amazed on how smooth the shifting was right from the start. What I was most amazed with was how easy and smooth shifting was when I climb. In northern VT, there are hills everywhere and its very common to start to put pressure on the pedals and hammer the hills; shifting was silk. The road bars are super stiff carbon and did not flex at all when I put pressure on them in a sprint. I can not say enough good things about these components. YOU NEED TO TRY SAMPSON!!!
Email Eric and he’ll give you great advise on what works best, how to install and anything else. Your getting info from the man himself, not too many companies can say that. Check it out http://www.sampsonsports.com/
First post on first day registered? come on…
I read these enough, figured it was a good idea to sign up and share a review…
ok, well then, can you ask “the man” why he changed the name of his new tt bike from 747 to 745?
did the boeing aircraft co. have a lock on the B-747 designation ?
email him, I’m sure he’ll get back to you with an answer. He did with every questions I had…If you implying I am eric then you are dead wrong…Does a name change offend you??
name change?
nah, i was just curious.
i didn’t think you were mr. sampson, but i figured you likely worked for/with him …
Nope, sorry don’t work for him. I was just looking for new components came across Sampson a few times, and contacted the guy. You see Sram and Shimano out there and I guess I just wanted to be different…
