Saltwater Pool in S. Ontario?

Hi all,
Anyone know of a public saltwater pool in Southern Ontario? I know there likely aren’t many, if any, but my chlorine allergy is killing me. After trying to calm my hive-covered skin with Aveeno baths, ivory/dove soap and Benedryl cream, I gave up swimming for 3 weeks. I started again using a barrier cream (Prevex) while swimming. I got 2 swims in last week and today (2-3 days after my last swim), my skin has just exploded in hives. ARGH! I can’t take the itch anymore but my racing will seriously suffer if I stop swimming.

Any suggestions regarding the itch or saltwater pools would be greatly appreciated…

Not sure where you are located, but St. Mary’s ON opened a 25m saltwater pool last year.

yes…the mnjcc at spadina and bloor is a saltwater pool…i do my swimming there, but a membership is required.

just to add…i believe there is still a small amount of chlorine in this pool (not sure if that’s how ALL saltwater pools are or not), but it’s
not at all noticeable. my kids swim there too and they have a similar chlorine/hives problem.
oh…and you don’t have to be jewish to join…just to let you know.
