I’ve been riding for many years and had never experienced saddle sores. I think I have my first one. The skin is rubbed raw down there, not sure what I did differently. I smeared some of my son’s Destin (Zinc Oxide) all over. What else is a good quick healing remedy?
Air it out a bit. In the privacy of your own home, of course
Neosporin+ works great. Saddle sores start with infection of the raw skin so I just do a thin layer of neosporin+ when I get chaffed. It’s worked for a few years now for me.
Bag Balm. Live it, love it, smear it. You may start to moo…but it’s worth it.
I assume you ride with chamois cream, yes?
