I see many of the 7x9 rail systems are on clearance. Maybe supply outpaced demand. Anyway, I’m a sucker for a sale and I need to find out if my Colnago CLX aero seat post and its bindings will accept a 7 x 9 rail.
What determines whether a seat post is a “side loader” for the purpose of fitting seat post bindings to a saddle?
What was the impetus for the 7x9 change? Stiffer, lighter, stronger?
