Plan to be in Rome for 4-5 days for a wedding and am looking for places to run and swim. I’ve never been to Rome before but I think we are staying 'near the center of the city" if that makes any sense. Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations.
We were there at the same time as the Rome marathon and I have to say, it looks like an awesome spot - we plan on doing our first marathon there next spring. One place to go running would be the park up at Villa Borghese (sp?), which is a nice green space with paths and traffic free ‘streets’. Traffic is hellacious - also look out for the amazing number of hookers at all hours, day and night!
