I would agree with the others shoes in general are not the answer. You are in Ironman training things will come up that should be expected.
Shoes - how old are your shoes. If there is any possibility they are worn out replace them immediately. Run in different shoes. If you have upped your running you should start running in multiple pairs. Personally I never run in the same shoe two days in a row and I may not run in a shoe I love more than once a week. Current rotation Saucony Triumph, Shift, Endorphin Speed, New Balance 1080, Fuel Cell Rebel RC Elite 1&2, Asics Meta Sky Speed. I run 6 days a week. This also takes care of worn out shoes.
Body Work - Yoga, massage gun, actual massage, a good physio in your area. Personally I utilize all. Yoga and massage gun daily, massage infrequent, physio every 6 weeks pain or no pain.
Rest - your words don’t say injury they say pain. Back off the run and add a swim or bike and give the hip some relief.
