I recently bought a new pair of New Balance shoes for the youngster which had a velcro closure system. Seeing most kids don’t want to spend the time to learn and/or tie their shoes and the fact that they usually kick them on and off skipping the step of having to open up the laces and tongue…
So, why don’t or haven’t we seen a running shoe incorporating velcro as an alternate method? We have our tri bike shoes with a large velcro strap that is supposed to make us faster between transitions, but what about running?
Seems like an easy issue to solve?
Bring back the Zipps, I say!!!
