Running help for Shoulders

When I am running I just cannot seem to keep my shoulders down.

I try imagining my blades sliding down my back but it doesn’t work. I keep trying to keep them relaxed bu they keep rising up and are quite tired and sore even after a relatively short run.

Any help would be great.

If they are really this bad you need to do the boring scapula exercises. Unfortunately I don’t have a handy reference to them on the web. Maybe go to a physio and find out how to do them.
