No way to tell based on where the sutures are, but no running for 1 month because of a simple (6 sutures) skin laceration is crazy (assuming no other knee injuries). 10 days and that laceration should be pretty strong. 2 weeks for sure.
I was just there 75 days ago when i crashed 45 days before IMCDA. There is more to it than just the stitches - the issue with my knee was the joint stability. I went for my long run - 20 miles - 2 weeks after the accident, stitches still in the knee - on a strand down in San Diego, caught a bump and took a tumble, opening the knee right back up. All that did was set me back further. My advice is aloe vera for the wound, ice whenever you can, rest as much as your compulsion will allow and be very very careful when starting back up.
