I noticed the rubber pulling apart on my wetsuit near the armpits. It looks like tiny little cuts. Its not going through all the way but you can see the liner of the wetsuit(blue inside the xterra). Is it time for a new one?

Send it in for warranty. I just sent my XTerra back and had a new one in front of my door in 1 week. Even upgraded to the Pro Model for a few added bucks.
I think its a design flaw with XTerra wetsuits as I know of 3 others who’ve suffered the same fate. Both the Vector and Vector Pro models. Kudos to XTerra for an awesome customer service experience.
Same happended to mine. What I realized is those tears were right at the spot where the suit hits the special wetsuit hanger the sell.
Are you others using the hanger?
I have repaired a lot of tears in my wetsuits but if you are talking about the underarm area of a full-sleeve suit I would think that is a high stress area that is going to be hard to successfully repair.
I would try the warranty route or at least a professional opinion on repair.
