I have a Garmin 305 now, and would like to do some run analysis. I’ve heard people refer to rTSS (and possibly rIF?). What do I need to use to do analysis to show me those numbers?
I own CyclingPeaks that’s I’ve used for years to analyze biking TSS & NP & IF–is there something I’m missing?
Thanks.

Practical approaches to determine a FTP:
- Actual performance from a recent race or hard training run of 10-15 km.
a. If 10 km time was greater than 45 min, use 10 km
b. If 10 km time was less than 45 min, use 15 km or half marathon

ETA - make sure that you have downloaded the latest build that incorporates rTSS
and of course, more practical, but (potentially) less accurate, 15 km or 1/2 marathon pace (whichever is closest to 1 hr) predicted from Vdot tables or similar nomogram using efforts at shorter distances.
As always, “fix altitude”.
Use one of the online vdot calculators to figure out vdot and then plug it into wko+ and when you download you will have the rTSS data. Remember to run the altituide correction on the files to get more accurate numbers.
