Rothlisberger to Holmes: did that beat Montana to Clark?

Man, that was amazing.
Great play at the end of agreat game…

I still can’t believe he made that catch.
So…
Which was better? This last catch, or Montana to Clark?

I don’t know if it was better or not, but that catch was absolutely filthy!

Montana to Clark but the Holmes catch was great also.

Maybe so, wasnt the Montana-Clark throw in a NFC championship game, or was that a super bowl?

Great freakin game, maybe even better then last years Giant game.
Glad im not a Card fan…that was a heartbreaker.

Both incredible catches, but Montana to Clark wasn’t in a Super Bowl.

I would take Tyree’s catch from last year over Holmes catch. It was a great catch yes, but it is routine. Go up get the ball and get your feet in. He wasn’t hit the ball was where it needed to be and he put his feet down. Nothing like last year’s catch.

I was more thinking about the pass-catch combo than just the catch.

Eli shaking free to get that ball to Tyree was a major part of that play. I thought for sure he was sacked.

Would have to agree that Tyree’s catch (as much as I hated the end result) tops them both. What’s more impressive is that he had Rodney Harrison draped all over him the whole time in addition to catching the ball with his helmet and maintaining control on his way to the ground.

Montana to Clark wasn’t all that great of a catch, on its own its not highlight reel material, but in its context, it deserves its place in history. The 49ers were knocking on the Dallas door for a couple of years but never managed to beat them, when they finally did with that catch they buried the Cowboys franchise for nearly 10 years and became the dominant franchise in football for a log time.

There’s too much parity in football today for any team to become dominant for a long period like back then.

As a stand alone catch however and to win the brass ring, Rothlisberger to Holmes was better…and I’m a Niner fan.

Rothlisberger to Holmes!!!

Go Bucks!!!

Screw Blue!
