Why are the race times at Roth, for both men and women, consistently faster than other Ironman distance races?
The spectators are unbelievable. There is no other triathlon in the world with this type of crowd. That is a contributing factor.
The weather is usually mild. That is a contributing factor for athletes who do not like it hot.
Aside from that…course length? Other?
Roth has a time cut-off at 15 hours if I am correct.
That is why and that is how it should be in every Ironman race.
