Anyone familiar with Rota, Spain? I’m looking for a descent bike shop or some good run routes that you might know of…
I am very familiar with rota. Incredible place. Where are you staying? There are run routes all over. Start at the tip of the boardwalk next to the naval base and run it. It’s beautiful. The streets are really narrow and winding–I wouldn’t reccomend running in them. You can either bike up or down the coast to Cadiz or Gibraltar or go inland in search of hills. I haven’t found a bike shop there. The rafts at the beach make for great ows markers. Enjoy!
Very familiar with it and I love that place. There is a bike shop on the main drag just up the hill from the big stainless hands. It seems that the road scene there gives way to riding mountain bikes on the roads as that shop will occasionally have a road bike but usually only has mountain bikes and cruisers. Like said above, running downtown is a little more difficult, but it can be done. I can only assume that you’re at the base and just got there? PM me and I can give you more details.

I am looking forward to finding this new bike shop you speak of galaxy, and hopefully the ‘big grey hands’ are a well known landmark I can work from. i’m going pull up a map on google so i can figure out where in the city I want to run, but as i’m gathering, stay out of the streets. And I’m looking forward to the open water swimming. thanks for your help guys!
