Exhibit A for why there will never be peace in the region. No side is willing to even explore a middle ground.
His generalizations about financial and military aid to the region make for good sound bites that on the face of them sound reasonable to the average person who either doesn’t know or doesn’t realize that Isreal is a nuclear power. We stop giving them weapons and money and they eventually become too weak to defend themselves from all sides, and have to resort to WMD to keep their “homeland” safe.

Israel hasn’t just explored the ‘middle ground,’ they’ve given the ‘middle ground’ to the Palestinians. They got out of Gaza and out of the West Bank and are FEEDING, EMPOYING, and PROVIDING HEALTHCARE to the population that has elected a thugocracy government that repaid the favor by firing missiles at them.
There is no middle ground with people who want to exterminate you.
